Four-Sensor Design Innovation

Four Sensors at Heart of Instrument

High accuracy QuadraTherm™ Four-Sensor Technology provides critical sensor inputs to the qTherm heat transfer model to instantly calculate mass flow rate at very high accuracies.  Traditional thermal sensors have (1) one temperature sensor and (1) one velocity sensor.  Our patented QuadraTherm Sensor has (3) three precision thin-film temperature sensors and (1) one patented DrySense velocity sensor backed by a lifetime warranty.

  • Accuracy: +/- 0.5% of Reading*

  • Three Temperature Sensors

  • DrySense, No-Drift Velocity Sensor

  • Isolates Forced Convection (Mass Flow)

  • Neutralizes Unwanted Heat Transfer (False Flow)

  • Multivariable: T, P and Mass Flow Velocity

  • Lifetime Warranty

*Verified by an independent NIST & NVLAP accredited metrology lab.

Quadratherm Sensor

Quadratherm Sensor

The patented four-sensor design is required to fully isolate forced convection (gas mass flow rate) and calculate out the nearly 25% of unwanted heat transfer components. By doing this, we solve the First Law of Thermodynamics for the greatest accuracy potential.

Multivariable

Multivariable

An optional pressure sensor port makes the meter fully multivariable. Temperature and mass flow velocity are standard with every meter.

DrySense Technology

DrySense Technology

Patented "dry" velocity sensor with zero "wet" cements or epoxy potting compounds that crack and shift over time, all backed by a lifetime warranty.

AeroMax

AeroMax

The aerodynamic contouring design of the sensor head eliminates probe flow downdraft effects that cause false flow readings.
