The following information will help you send your instrument to our Factory Service Center and insure that your order is processed accurately and promptly.
Please package your instruments carefully in a sturdy, foam-packed carton. (Packaging “peanuts” will not sufficiently protect your instrument from shipping damage). Include a packing list of any accessories, cables, power supplies, etc. that you are including in your shipment. Please note that often we can also calibrate non-Sierra flow meters and controllers – please contact us for details.
Sierra is not always able to provide a fixed quotation prior to a full factory evaluation because in addition to routine calibration, upgrade or repair, quotations depend on the type of gas, flow range, operating temperature and operating pressure. In most cases, we will perform a full evaluation and send you a fixed quotation within 48 business hours. Please note that if our quotation is not accepted, an evaluation charge may apply.
CAUTION! For the safety of our employees, Sierra will NOT accept shipment of instruments that have been exposed to corrosive, radioactive or hazardous gasses or liquids. If you have any questions or concerns about a shipment, please contact us.
