Q: How do I select the right digital gas flow meter for my application?

Q: How do thermal flow meters work?

A: An industrial thermal mass flow meter measures either the mass velocity at a point in aflowinggas, or the total mass flow rate through a channel or pipe. Q: What is mass flow rate? 

A: Simply put, the mass flow rate is the WEIGHT of the sample, while the volumetric flow rate is the SIZE of the sample.
